Summer 2011

Fantastic what a summer this has been (sorry still is)! The good weather started early November and still lasts. It's now early March and the beach is still calling.
The photo collage below should give you a feeling of our little adventures over the past months.

First trip to Bethels beach early November. Lucia enjoying her first dip in a bath of balls.

And what about this 'hot' couple going for a 'car key party' Who brings who home? :-)

In December Jacqueline, Paolo, Susanna en Georgia arrived for their european winter escape. We had booked a nice house on the beach to celebrate X-mas in family style. The views from the deck of the house were just amazing. The place was our heaven for a few days and we had a great X-mas lunch while looking over the beach.

Besides eating and drinking far too much, we explored the North part of New Zealand. Boarding from sand dunes, visiting old Kauri trees and swimming with dolphins.

Or just enjoyed playing in water. Lucia enjoyed the company of her cousins.

Late December Oma and Opa arrived and for the first time ever the majority of the Jerphanion Clan was in New Zealand. The Waitakere dam train turned in to a enjoyable family outing and a perfect opportunity for some family photos.

In February both Lucia and Ursula celebrated their birthdays. Urs had a special birthday and the 2 of us went a long weekend away to Byron Bay. Back home we celebrated the big day with a fantastic dinner together with Helen and Oma & Opa. Lucia was pleasantly surprised with her first bike.
