Whatipu Regional Park
Whatipu regional park is just behind the Waitakere ranges on the west
shore. The location where "The Piano" was filmed. It's a great
place to go for a sunday stroll or a long tramp. There are some interesting
caves, wild beaches, forest and wet marshes.
